The day started off by meeting Tash and all of her bridesmaids at her Mum’s house for hair and makeup preparations. I loved capturing the laughter, the emotions, and the excitement.
We then headed off to The White Hart Inn, which hosted a gorgeous Christmas wedding theme. When we arrived at the venue Tash and her bridesmaids gathered together upstairs to complete their final preparations. Meanwhile, in the ceremony Dan was waiting for Tash, accompanied by his best man Ben, who was a bundle of joy and of course Tash and Dan’s dog Lemmy, who was the most lovable and well-behaved dog you would ever meet.
After Tash and Dan tied the knot we captured some awesome confetti shots, as well as family and couple portraits before the wedding breakfast. I also noticed Lemmy working his puppy dog eyes during the wedding breakfast and it seemed to have a pretty good success rate, as I think he ended up eating more than the guests!
As we stepped into the evening of the reception we had the Father and daughter dance as well as Tash and Dan’s first dance. As a photographer, you look for emotions and reactions and I could clearly see that these two people were loved by everyone in the room. After the first dance, the room was full of great energy, as everyone was up on the dance floor, boogying the night away.
I was very honoured to photograph Tash and Dan’s wedding, it was an amazing day. They are such a lovely couple and I wish them both the very best in life.
